2010–2023 Writings
by Michelle Margaret Fajkus

It’s hard to believe I’ve lived in Guatemala for nearly 13 years. I’ve spent the past decade immersed in nature, motherhood, yoga, writing and mindful living.

And I’ve been fortunate to share many special moments on retreat or in class with wonderful people, leading yoga practices accessible to all levels. I teach and practice overlooking magical, mystical Lake Atitlan and her three towering (inactive) volcanoes across the sparkling water on the southern shore.

This past February, while I was leading a one-on-one personal retreat, thanks to the wonder of social media, a childhood friend reached out and connected me with a friend of his who runs a small-group retreat business called Traverse Journeys.

Long story short, they invited me to lead a six-day retreat from August 16-21, 2022! The lovely, ecological Bambú Guest House in Tzununá hosted us. The group comprised 5 people, including myself! The next time around will be in August 2023! You’re invited to join the circle! Check out all the details, ask questions, and sign up.
